Nikko
Jana and I got wonderful news yesterday. We were able to get our room at the Turtle Inn in Nikko so we are going for sure. We are leaving on the 27th and we will be back in Ami sometime on the 29th. We are both looking forward to the trip. I think we have decided to take the train to Nikko and then we are going to try and figure out the bussing system once we get there. I think we are going to write down the names of the places we want to visit and then have them put into Kanji for us so we are able to show people where we want to go and then get directions that way. I am also going to brush up on my directions in Japanese so I can understand what people are telling us and ask questions to make sure we are going the right way.
Ayako (she is new and in charge of the kids classes) is awesome. She went on-line and searched for cheap hotels for us just in case the Turtle Inn didn’t work out for us. We didn’t even ask her too. How cool is that??
