A Must Read
I borrowed The Five People you Meet in Heaven by: Mitch Albom, from Andrea, about a month ago. Numerous people have been telling me that I needed to read it and that it was an amazing book. I had picked it up a couple times but never bought it. Geez, people. Next time I am an udder idiot and refuse to read a book that is probably one of the best books ever please slap me.
I started reading the book last night and I finished at work today…not a good idea because I almost started crying a couple of times. I thought the writing was beautiful and simple. The author kept the writing simple because his main character lived a simple life and the plot of course was moving. You were able to experience the main character’s journey and you learned with him.
When Eddie met that fifth person in heaven I would have burst into tears had it not been for the fact that I was at school. Everything suddenly made sense and you along with Eddie finally understood everything.
I simply loved the book and if you have yet to read it…GO AND READ IT! Really, I am planning to read it again this weekend.
Speaking of books, anyone have a book or five that they think I really need to read. (I have no books here and I am always looking for something new) Please leave a comment and tell me what you think I need to read…anything and everything are welcomed.
