So angry I could spit nails
Or whatever the saying is! I'm doing laundry tonight and my apartment complex has it's own laundry facilities. Now I have lived here for almost three years and not felt compelled to watch the laundry, in fact no one does. It's pretty much accepted that things are pretty safe around here, no one feels obligated to make sure there stuff isn't stolen. In fact, every apartment complex I have lived in has been that way. Now I know it's my own darn fault for not watching my stuff, but seriously who expects that someone will come in and steal their dirty laundry??
Well that's what happened tonight folks. And it wasn't just a pair of jeans. It was my FAVORITE pair of jeans. I LOVED those jeans and now they are gone. I was so pissed that I typed up a note about fucking thieves and how everyone should start watching their laundry and pinned it up in the laundry room.
What really sucks, is that I usually get a lot of housekeeping type stuff done on my computer while I am doing laundry. Now I get to sit in the laundry room and waste a few hours of my time because I can't have any faith that my entire wardrobe won't go walking off someday. Maybe my laptop wireless connection will extend that far....*wishful thinking*
