First time for everything
Well I called out on work today. Not going in due to the amount of snowfall we have coming down. First time for everything, I pride myself on never calling out on a shift, for example I have called out sick once in the over two years that I have worked for Deb and technically I worked half the shift and went home early. Course it has to be on Saturday, the last holiday shopping Saturday of the season. I feel really bad for the co-manager cause the other assistant she called out as well because she lives south of the city and north and south are being hit the worst out of the entire area. We have a winter storm warning in effect till 9 pm tonight and they are forecasting 5 to 7 inches for the area. It's so bad that I can't see the road from my sliding glass door. On the up side, I get to sit at home, edit con pics, watch more B5 and see the kitties go crazy over all the birds that are hanging around outside in the blowing snow. Yep to top it all off, the winds are gusting to 35 mph. So we have blowing snow too. I hate Kansas.
