BATTLE OF THE BANDS!!
on December 9th. Right now, we're looking for some BANDS. Know anyone who might like to compete?? Interested yourself?? Let me know! The only requirement is that you have to be in highschool. Auditions are Nov 19. But, you have to let us know if you're coming beforehand. Tell all of your friends! Just DO IT.
in other news... i went to the halifax pop explosion on saturday. it was great. the Seahorse is a cool, little spot. i saw the p. gods, control control, and the organs. i liked the p. gods the best. (but that's no surprise... right? haha) i saw lots of cool kids there, went for pizza afterwards and bought a pair of earings at the black market. they're wicked. when i got home, jenn, rach and isaac came over to make s'mores, but we just ended up smoking my house out. (couldn't make the fire right...) me, ally and isaac then watched "requium for a dream". i liked it. then, isaac locked himself out of his house (with everyone gone for the weekend)... and after much trying of climbing ladders to break in at 1 in the morning, we gave up and he slept in my porch. it was quite funny. karl and isaac tried very hard the next morning to get in... picking locks and whatnot, but that didn't work. instead, we went driving. karl took us to cow bay. we just drove around in circles. et pourquoi? je ne sais pas. mais, c'etais amusement. there is your daily dose of french. karl's gf is nice. now i am writing up an e-mail to the principles of metro schools about battle of the bands, and waiting for nsssa to call me and tell me if i can skillbuild! have a good week, folks.
