Wow, way behind on posting! If you wonder what I've been up to lately, swing by thepricewasright.blogspot.com and read about what Anna and I have been doing.
The latest news with me is that I have high blood pressure and anxiety-related chest pain. No joke. If I'm going to be a mess like this anyway, I should have just gone to a firm where I'd at least be making some $. Not that all my worries are work-related; my family and friends and their issues factor in there, too, plus I haven't exercised one bit in the past two months. Seriously though, chest pain?? W.T.F.
**Yes, I've been checked out by a doctor, and she's not concerned. My heart is fine. I just need to work out a little and calm the hell down.
Another bit of excitement is that we're trying to toilet-train the cats. We're in the early stages of training right now, meaning the girls are getting used to doing their business is a small, shallow litterbox right next to the toilet. Over the next few weeks, we'll begin stacking magazines under the box until it's level with the toilet seat. Then we'll gradually move the box over on top of the toilet, then we'll take the box away altogether and sprinkle some litter on a sheet of plastic wrap stretched under the toilet seat. Supposedly, once the cats learn to use the toilet at home, they can use any toilet anywhere, thus making travel a lot simpler.
And finally, we have a car! Mom got a new Subaru, so she gave me the old Cavalier. We haven't gone any further than IKEA yet, but a road trip might be in our near future...
