(no subject)
What do you get when you cross a 4-hour emergency room visit on a Friday night, a tetanus shot, a bad week at work, 95-degree heat, and 8 weeks of missing Anna? You get a headache. A bad one. But on the upside, you also get a sick day (of which I have 8 that I somehow need to use up by Aug 1).
So I'm at home this morning, head pounding for the 3rd day in a row, arm still sore as hell. I remember a similar reaction the last time I had a tetanus shot, and I was in good shape back then, so I think it's just me constitutionally and not my current state of general frailty.
I passed the long, sore weekend by reading Vegan with a Vengeance, Apartment Therapy (the book, not the website...for now), and the latest issue of American Photo magazine.
I'm counting the hours until Anna gets home (approx 37).
