I cannot believe we went through that whole event 5 years ago. I keep thinking about all the changes that have happened since then, both for the better and worse, and think that I am truly blessed. Sure, I'm not exactly where I want to be in my education and career but I have made incredible strides to get there.
I may or may not be able to go to school this semester. I'm in and have my classes picked; I just need to pay for it. Financial aid likes to take their time. I've been online every day to see if I need to do anything else.. I'm hoping it all works out. If it does, by December I'll have 5 associates and 2 certificates from taking a class here that I can transfer out and obtain elsewhere. Downside to university? Over 6k for this semester.. YIKES! I do not miss that price point.
Now that Michael is 5 and going to school this year, we have to shop for a barber for him. No more mom haircuts at home. A friend of a friend is going to try his hand at him tomorrow. My son is unique and takes only to a few so if this guy is liked, he will be his barber until Michael chooses otherwise. The guy should know he's auditioning as all stylist do. I'm really excited to see what kind of cut he gets as the guy's fades are pretty sick from what I've see of his work.
Exercised the last few days. Took a break today for the birthday and for my thighs to not be on fire. I'll probably pop on a yoga DVD and work out the rest of this soreness.
