One of the many reasons I try to avoid spoilers - when you inadvertantly learn something interesting, that you can't wait to see, and your anticipation builds throught the week, you might be let down when it doesn't turn out as you thought ( Read more... )

Or they just lied to you to punish you for being a Glee fan. That'll learn ya.

BLAINE GAVE KURT A PROMISE RING, MADE FROM THE WRAPPERS OF HIS FAVOURITE GUM, AND TOLD HIM HE WOULD ALWAYS LOVE HIM, DEFEND HIM AND MAKE COOKIES FOR HIM (amongst other things).

Hey, I've finally learned my lesson. When it comes to Glee, my plan is to let fandom pre-screen the episodes for me, and I might watch clips that come particularly recommended (like if Kurt and Blaine ever kiss again).

Blaine's punching above his weight level and they both know it.

I didn't even know new eps were being shown, but then I missed the start of an unexpected season of Futurama, too.

No, new eps of Glee aren't until September. I was talking about a missing scene from the Christmas episode last season, there were promo pics of Blaine giving Kurt a present, but the scene was cut from the show (and lo, Klaine fans were vocally upset). Within a day of the ep airing, it was revealed that the present was a homemade promise ring (and the same person claimed the scene would be on the dvds, but very few believed that, cause they haven't included cut scenes on the dvds for seasons 1 or 2, and yup, no sign of it ( ... )

Congratulations, I am pleased to inform you that you have won Understatement of the Year!! Expect your trophy and cheque in the post in 4-6 weeks.

I have to say, though, when I heard the plans that were afoot, I shook my head all, "Oh, those crazy Klainers...". But when the box scene was finally unveiled, Me = Goo. Puddle of goo. Oh those boys.

Ah-hahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahaaaahahahahah. ::deep breath:: Ah-hahahahahahahahahahahahahahah.

If we're really really really lucky...they might hug again someday!

The final straw for me in terms of really watching Glee was the finale - so many problems, but when it was made abundantly clear that Kurt wasn't actually the hero of his own story, and that the whole fucking season-long NYADA mess was just as a supporting prop in Rachel's storyline (and that the character was going to get no reaction scene to missing out), that was the show telling me to run while I could.

Also, they made Rachel getting to NY to follow her dreams, something I've looked forward to for 3 seasons, fall flat. That takes a special kind of incompetence.
