Angels & Devils: Beware the Ides of March
One more attempt by them failed, though they did more or less catch me by surprise this time. I did not expect that they would try something like this. If they are starting to getting this desperate then things really are proceeding as they should.
I thought I could sense that they were up to something, thus why I was able to counter their attack when they struck. Why do they think they can win? They are well aware of just who and what I am, as well as the power I possess. Don't they realize they can not hope to ever defeat me...no matter how hard they try? Perhaps these were the strongest among the rest sent forth.
This seems to be one of the more worst attacks then the ones they have made in the past. I wonder just what they shall try to attempt in the future if/when they get even more desterate.
