(no subject)
So I am now in Bangor, ready to start the academic year in this amazing university.
I found a house to rent, and though it's not exactly heavenly it's home, with a really comfy room. I've got four flatmates, and I already met two of
them (and they are a couple! and their room is just above mine! 'm doomed), who seem quite nice.
The sun is shining, a thing I believed impossible here in Wales (a thought that had been confirmed by the owner of the house... bah!)
Anyway, I'll just report some random thoughts and facts inspired by my permanence here:

- This welsh beer whose name I can't remember is simply great!
- One of these days I' going to end up squashed on the bonnet of a car, 'cause I really can't bring myself to look around in the right order before crossing a street
- Apple pie with custard and blackberry and apple crumble are two of the most delicious desserts I've ever eaten
- I met Simon Pegg and Helen Mirren at Marks and Spencer's: well, two people identical to them, I swear! I was about to shriek "Oh my gawd!", then I thought the idea of actual Simon Pegg and Helen Mirren going shopping together in a small town of Northern Wales was, well, let's say unlikely
