I'm not kidding, it's the same girl. I don't know if you remember when I posted that comment about Native Americans, but a friend of mine, Kowonish, who is Indian, made a comment on his journal about Top 10 Reasons Why Indians Are Better Than White Guys. It was pretty insulting and prejudiced and he ended it with, 'If you don't like it, get the hell out of my country'. I then proceeded to make my Top 5 list of Why I'm Better which included- 'My ancestors kicked butt.' and 'After conquering the Indians, my country proceeds to pamper the Native Americans like no other conquered people in the history of the world have been pampered.' and 'My taxes pay your welfare check, so you are still a conquered people and, in essence, my slave.'

Lahoci, Kowonish's brother, proceeded to tell me that he hates the white man and all the American people who first came into his country in boats flying the the United States flag. (Ironically almost 300 years before the United States of America became a nation and created a US flag.) While I was reveling in Lahocis lack of United States and American history, Alchea came on and tried to yell at me for correcting Lahoci and encourage Lahoci that 'you know your history better than this white girl ever could'. (Even though he was blatantly wrong.) She totally disregarded that everything I was posting pertaining to history was accurate and his was false. And then we began to debate on welfare and wether it is right that America should support a soveriegn nation.

My question is - If Indians are a sovereign nation, why is the US responsible for supporting them with US tax dollars? The answer is, it's not. And the defense, 'But you guys beat us up hundreds of years ago!' is NOT acceptable, seeing as most taxpayers ancestors migrated to America AFTER the US formed. If Native Americans want sovereignty and want to disdain the white man, they should want to be completely seperate and NOT dependent on their money. They should DISDAIN accepting hand outs from a country they despise. America is NOT responsible for anyone but America. Anyways. She couldn't grasp the concept. We got into the economy, welfare, and US history and all of her arguements and statements were false, inaccurate, self-defeating and contradictory or narrow minded. She would not concede to certain points in our discussions. If she got cornered in a certain topic, she would get frustrated and try to personally attack me (sort of like she did with this guy).

It is people like her who are one of the many reasons why I switched to 'no comment' mode. :-)

And it is the bigoted and self-centered people like Striogi and gamenut who believe that I did it because of them. Silly boys. ^_^
