I'm at marina798's over the next couple of days for my usual battery recharging. Went to Men's Wearhouse today and bought a dress shirt for job interviewing. They got me for less than what I feared, since the shirts are buy one get one free. Also got a garment bag to protect them. It's not easy finding a shirt for a neck as thick as mine (22"). We finally found one, and with a collar extender, it should work fine. I tell ya...there are some bitchin lookin clothes for us portly fellows, but jeebus the money they want! Tomorrow will be going around to the various temp agencies in Murfreesboro and filling out applications. I like the Boro, and hope to move here, but I need a job first. The commute between here and Nashville will put the Danemobile in a grave faster than anything.
The camera has been shipped. Things are beginning to roll. Next on this front will be buying work lights (Home Depot or Lowes) and getting some floor mats for the wrestling shoots.My laptop with windows movie maker will have to suffice for the first few clips I make, but I do need to pick up a used Mac and the basic version of Final Cut to really make a quality product. I don't want to be stuck with low quality clips. Any idiot can do that. I want to turn out good looking content, decent price, and photograph hot sweaty girl wrestling. And maybe kissing....okay and maybe some fondling. Stop looking at me like that!
To give you nice folks a better idea of what I'm going to be doing, take a gander at Sleeper Kid's World. (No nudity but I'm still labeling it as NSFW due to some people's prudish work places). SK has been around a long time and is one of the most popular wrestling vid shooters out there. The videos on his site highlight knockouts and various manifestations of the sleeper hold. It's a fun site, with cute girls, and tons of content.
So....on the agenda are:
- Acquisition of work lights
- Acquisition of floor mats so wrestlers no go boom.
- Learning how to put all this shit together.
