The princes, generals, lovers, and fools of Shakespeare's tragedies are summoned forth from the darkness to entertain the lords of the underworld. Players take the parts of famous characters from the Bard's plays who ended badly, and through various means natural and supernatural try to change their stories (and those of the others) to yield a more satisfying result.
This game includes a portion of interpersonal politics, a sprinkling of improvosational theater, and a lot of fun playing with the plays (though familiarity with the canon is not required). Conflicts are resolved through a cunning narrative system where players receive coins for participating in scenes and may spend their coins to describe changes to a scene's outcome.
Come join our pick-up troupe of tragedians, and see what happens when all of Shakespeare's darkest characters mingle and scheme on one world's stage.
