Rules are:
1. Pick a character, pairing, or fandom you like.
2. Turn on your music player and put it on random/shuffle.
3. Write a drabble related to each song that plays. You only have the time frame of the song to finish the drabble; you start when the song starts, and stop when it’s over. No lingering afterwards!
4. Do ten of these, then post them.

Summary: So, I haven’t posted to LJ in months . . . let alone wrote any fic. I’ve been needing an outlet since starting at SHU and here it is. The muse has been restless, but has had no concrete inspiration to feed me. Also . . . if you notice, I wrote a fic for Chad of AHS. Yes, I know we know next to nothing about the series or the character and the show hasn’t even started yet. This is just a little scenario that I think could happen based on the morsels of info I’ve read of the series. ^.^;; Also, I don’t think Lucrezia’s son has been named yet in the actual series . . . so I took the boy’s name from Assassin’s Creed: Project Legacy. lol Also, you may notice that I’ve done only 6 out of 10 required by the meme. What’s 4 more drabbles? It’s 10:23 pm and my brain has pushed out all it can after all these months of not writing. lol Enjoy the drabbles! Feedback is 100% welcomed and loved. =D
With a Little Help From My Friends - Across the Universe - 126 words
Sylar sat at his kitchen table, cup of tea in hand and surrounded by textbooks. The past year and a half had gone well, compared to the previous four years in perspective. It seemed like forever ago since that night at the carnival where he vowed to turn over a new leaf. That is to say, there were hiccups in the early months. Recently; however, he had gone back to college and even began working part-time at a physics laboratory nearby.
With a smile, he read through the papers for his presentation looking for the most interesting recent topics. On the seat next to him, his Tabby, Andromeda, purred softly as she slept in the sun, the end of her tail flicking softly. Life was good.
Paralyzer - Finger Eleven - 140 words
Mike strutted through the office. Today was the day. He just knew in his gut. Not even Louis and his pretentious smirk could ruin his mood. Rachel passed by with a small smile as Mike watched her even after the exchange sashay down the hallway. Upon entering the record and memorabilia-laden office, he found Harvey pouring over a case-file. It was for some night-club managers that were trying to get their business off the ground. Mike outstretched his hand - finally he would have a case that he would win. Harvey looked into Mike, as if searching him, and smiled wide like a shark.
“You think this is your case? Try again, ensign.” Harvey gave a slight chuckle to himself.
“Again with Trek!?” Mike’s shoulders slumped as he grabbed another file from Harvey and settled into a couch by the window.
Fidelity - Regina Spektor - 167 words
Neal strolled down the New York street past the park. It was nearly dusk and the crisp autumn air was billowing in lightly. The city gave an orange glow in the light that was just perfect for the evening. He hadn’t seen Sara since the whole Keller ordeal and that gave him pause. Alex . . . well, she was just a part of the wind. He wondered if he could have given himself more fully to any of his past loves.
His mind was ever more present on the recent situation with Peter, and it broke his heart. El was Peter’s light and levity. Ever since Keller had taken her, Peter had spent hours upon hours in the office. A few nights Neal had noticed that he had slept there - even after Neal had offered his apartment. Neal didn’t blame Peter - not in the slightest because El was his everything. The light in Peter’s eyes had dimmed and Neal hoped that it would come back soon.
Underneath Your Clothes - Shakira - 132 words
Lucrezia Borgia strode down the hallways of her mother’s villa, emerald green dress trailing behind her majestically. In her arms she held her son, Giovanni - his sweet little face just watching her with big brown eyes. She was so young just a few months ago and now she was a woman, a mother. Sitting down in the courtyard upon a stoneware bench, she rocked little Giovanni, smiling down at him as he giggled.
From the corner, Cesare watched with a sad smile. He would do literally anything to protect his sister and his nephew from any harm. If only he wasn’t bound by the cloth he wore every single day of his life. He took his place by Lucrezia’s side as she smiled a wide smile and placed Giovanni in Cesare’s arms.
Fever Dream - 300 - 175 words
The water rippled to stillness as Chad looked downwards toward it blankly. All of the emotion that had filled him previously had drained completely from his body into the water. The dark figure watched from the wall adjacent to the tub, pleased and emanating a maleficence that filled the deep recesses of Chad’s soul. The darkness hung over the room like a cloud of thick and choking dust.
Each motion played back in Chad’s mind - how he held his partner under the water, squeezing the life from his body. The water splashed back and forth as the man he loved tried to break free from his grasp.
The darkness moved with a persistent purpose, waltzing down the wall and stalking towards Chad. The being was pleased as it enveloped Chad in a lovers embrace. Its spindly hands scratched across Chad’s chest, bloody marks emanating with each perverse slide. It was pressed against Chad’s back, a parasite ready to devour its host. The being shifted Chad’s gaze towards the attic door. The house had claimed another.
Bloody Mary - Lady Gaga - 153 words
Mohinder watched the fire of the funeral pyre blaze and grow, enveloping the body of Sylar. He couldn’t say that he was sad to see him gone. Finally. He pondered celebrating once he got back home, but after all the both had been through . . . no, it wouldn’t be right.
Finally Chandra could sleep in peace. Finally Molly’s parents and all of the other people Sylar has viciously murdered were avenged. Mohinder watched as the fire licked the face of Sylar, burning him away into nothing. He didn’t know how he could walk away; however, because he was tied to this man, for better or for worse. All that was left was to move on with his life, or what was left of it after the Company, Pinehearst, and the government. All that he had now was his physical strength and his research.
For now, a drink would have to do.
Cheers!
