My rant for the day. Good thing nobody listens
Ever get that feeling that honesty never pays off and that people are just going through the motions of being friends? I got a good jolt today. Let's just say that I was honest to someone about the way several people felt. Next thing I know, those same people deny everything and so I look like the ass. Is this a Toronto thing? Probably not, but I seem to see it more and more here.
So weird that since leaving Montreal, I have cast the french aside from my being (those who know me know why), but in TO I am considered more or less, french. I don't attend any french parties really unless under duress and try to fit in here but the two-face antics and backstabbing are starting to wear thin. Maybe I'll just consider myself a person of the world and don't care where I live. Or maybe I could find a nice cave and whittle away the years in solitude. I guess I just miss my friends in Montreal that often seem more real.
