3rd possible job opportunity
Last Tuesday I went with Xiomai to the office of Destiny Cable because I've read in an ad weeks ago that they were in need of news writers, field reporters and news anchors. I neither wanted to be news anchors nor field reporters. I want to start as a writer. Their office is in Pasong Tamo, Makati so I presumed that it's near Buendia. But I was wrong! Their office is not near Buendia at all! We walked for like, 30 blocks! from Buendia to EDSA Magallanes! It was so far we thought we're gonna die. Good thing it wasn't that hot at all; it was raining a little but it was endurable. And to top it all, when we finally got to the office, the freaking receptionist just said that we just leave our resumes with them and expect a call! After the loooong walk we took, our butts didn't even warm up in that office, we were asked to leave and expect a freaking call. Sigh. Breathe in. Breathe out. How typical. Anyway, I'm past being infuriated. Honestly, it wasn't that infuriating anyway to dwell upon. It's just become a funny story to look back on. I just hope I can land a job now. =/
