J-pooped
just finished writing a paper for my Japanese Popular Music class and feeling so glad to have it done although not particularly proud of the work. so instead i will indulge you all with my current on-goings!
yes, it is that time again when semesters wind down and finals approach with the carrot on a string of winter break always luring me to finish with some sense of accomplishment so i can move on and enjoy the down time. tomorrow is the last day of classes and then finals week kicks in including a final quiz i have on saturday which should be illegal or something but our school tends to do every couple of years i guess. the weather has (thankfully for the wellbeing of my extremities) gotten back to reasonable temperatures but the wind still blows (pun intended). but what can ya do but bitch and moan on lj, eh?
in other news, i thought i should let y'all know that i will be in NM for christmas until the 27th (if memory serves me right) and in Logan until the 6th of January so we should make plans thusly if it is convenient.
finally, just curious to see if anyone else has seen the movie "Syriana." i sort of stumbled into it on saturday when there wasn't much playing when we got to the theater and i had never even heard of it before i got in, but i thought it was really interesting. given that at least some of the people who read this thing expressed their liking of Traffic, i guess i should say that this reminded me of Traffic a lot and Stephen Soderberg was involved in the production so its no wonder. makes me think that the US is evil and we should all just run our cars on canola oil or something and rid ourselves of the problem entirely. ok, im done.
