Ladies and Gentlemen...
Well, so hear it is. My first entry since...June? July? To tell you the truth, my life just isn't very exciting to write down, nor can I remember many of my dreams.
When I take a quick glance, the summer moves as slow as molasses, but when I really look back and think about it, it travels at the rate of a concorde jet going faster than the speed of light. Which kind of sucks being that I feel like I've made some really strong connections with some very important people. Kurt Pearsall and Daniel Bruner to name a couple. This last month Kurt, Dan and I have been spending nearly every day together. Whether it's watching movies, listening to music, playing Star Wars Trivial Pursuit, or Tetris/Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time. It's been a swell past month or so to be those guys' friends. Andrew Egli, Andrew Hartman, and Kirby Francis were also involved. Definitely 3 more fellas that i've gotten closer to.
Summers are hard because they DO go by so quickly. It's difficult to keep friendships going. It's so hard to not let someone down. I've made new friendships this summer and strengthened previous ones and so its difficult to balance them. To keep them happy, because they're so important to me. Hmmm...I hope that doesn't sound like I'm bragging about an amount of friends....
Saturday is the day that I leave for school. Two weeks of RA training, followed by few days of freshmen orientation, followed by the beginning of classes.
The summer always gets good towards the end. people move on, people change. I've grown accustomed to these things in life.
