I love the fact that this is open-ended! I'm not sure if everything went back to the way it was or if they manipulated reality to create another setting where Charles stayed with Erik.

I love how Charles realises he doesn't like Erik's plans and speaks out. Erik is very "if you're not with us, you're against us" in this story.
