Ok - well, we rounded everyone up that we could and the zombies started dropping like flies as we pulled out of port. Long story short, we all made it out ok. I eve heard from my family in other parts of the country!

I have to say that this little blog experiment was truly fun! I think that a portion of the people on livejournal post here because they love to write and have creative minds - to put them to use with something like this really brightens a Wednesday and add a little bit of flavor to our usual rants and raves. It also encouraged us to post more to other entries, forming converstaions that I'm sure we'll be talking about for a while. My husband was looking over my shoulder last night as I was reading the last few posts before I went to bed and was amazed that a group of people who don't necessarily know each other would get invloved in something like this. My response was simple:
The internet has incredible powers.
Like I posted over on
esprix 's journal, we really ought to do this again some time.
