Ok - so I got an e-mail back from 4seasons. it's strange how quickly they can respond when you're telling them you're not happy with the service.
So it boils down to one of two things:
1. the pavilion design i have is so outrageous and difficult that no amount of explination on my part could ever get the idea across to anyone
or
2. they're not able to understand what I'm explaining to them no matter what method of comminications I use.
It's neither here nor there - i'm not going with that company for a pavilion, now or ever.
(this is not to say that someone wouldn't have a great deal of luck and a highly successful business transaction with them on a design they currently offer. I wouldn't go there for custom work though.)
most everyone has said that they'd buy the panther and wait on the custom design. so it would appear that I'll be a panther owner here in a month or so.
