Vernon Photography Lessons sold out and I’m stoked on it.
Although I don’t have as much time as I’d like to teach (especially during the summer, when I’m busy shooting weddings every weekend), I do enjoy teaching immensely. It’s nice to get in touch with people, and understand what they see on the other side of the camera.
Halfway through, we head to
CIBC Bank in Vernon and take some long exposures of the traffic. It was a bit chilly, but we made it work.
The students learned how to change their aperture and shutter speed to get longer exposures. Nothing like hands on learning. This area usually has a lot of traffic, so it’s perfect for a long exposures. Night photography is possible with any DSLR, and most of my students have cameras from Nikon, Canon, and we’ve even got a Pentax! Awesome!
Well, that’s about all that’s going on this week. Thanks for reading! If you’d like to be in the next round (whenever that is), please
shoot me an email or
contact me.
