Well, here I go... It's 11:40AM and i'm sitting at a desk that i've sat at many times before... So the other night, the future scared the shit out of me... and then yesterday, it became the past... However, today, I am once again frightened by it. It's been so long, I don't even know where to begin.
I know it was a Sunday night... I made a fairly big decision to once again not do my Sunday night post for my online class. Unlike the other times I didn't do the assignment, this time I decided to never do them again. Furthermore, I decided to never go to my Monday class again too. I just couldn't do it any longer. Not only was I wasting my time by being enrolled in school, but I was wasting others' time too. I couldn't justify putting any more effort into something that I had no interest in whatsoever... so that was it... I decided to call it quits with the whole school thing.
That Monday night, while drinking with 2 of my 3 Tallahassee friends, I decided that I should leave town for a few days to "clear my head." So I called ol' Boner in Orlando and asked if I could stop by for a few days... and he said yes... So I was in Orlando the next day... and my "few days" turned into something like 2-weeks... My stay was fun... Here are some highlights:
-I met Boner's roommates, who I must say, are quite awesome.
-I got to see Boner and Paige, which is always a pleasure.
-I went to 2 shows: Bullets to Broadway (which were a bit disappointing) and Boner's band Monikers w/Strike Anywhere (where I saw all kinds of people from my south FL past [Protagonist, Eddie Bum Ruckus, and some others])
-I went to a Nazi parade and got to see real live Nazis.
-I played basketball and Shaq'ed everyone who got in my way.
-I got to meet up with two guys I went to military school with, who I hadn't seen in 8 years.
-Matt and I planned our spring break trip to NY.
I think this is a good point to lead into the next part of my story: Spring Break 98. But since i'm in the office right now, I'll have to finish this later. Stay tuned for the next update and eventually the picture update, which I know you love oh-so-much. Back to work I go... fuck.
