staring in the mirror
i blink
taking in each misplaced hair
unsightly bludges
I close my eyes
imaginning myself as I want to be
i smile
as i step out of my skin
and search for who i am
defining myself by all that is beyond my fingertips

Thousands of years on, lights blink
and my body bubbles away
minds swap and
i blink
a new body
i smile
touch my world with new finger tips
and stare out into a living a mirror
seeing myself as I was
then i open my eyes
and inhale
to great the day
