We're living in a generation of people who are obsessed with telling everybody every single little detail about themselves - striving for some sense of place or some inkling of individuality - facebook, myspace, friendster - you can't possibly know who someone is by breaking their life down into music, interests, and activities.. - technology is great, but holy shit what a loss of social capital
