What Kind of Intelligence Do You Have?
I don't read a lot now, but I did when I was a kid. I also engaged in a lot of imaginative play....what I recognize now as role playing. For example, when I was a kid and we were out running errands, my brother and I used to pretend that the car was a spaceship.
Another similar story: My brother and I also had this football game. I usually tell people I didn't start coding until I was 18, but I did dabble in BASIC a little when I was young, 12 maybe. I wrote a program to generate player sheets with random statistics and print them out. Them we would have a draft, and play games against each other with our teams. We had some rules for determining if passes were caught, tackles were broken, etc., but I never finished that part. But, we did print the sheets and have the draft. My mom flipped because I had the program print out about 1000 players. I guess this game was a combination of fantasy football, a Madden game, role playing game, and collectible card game.
