Mallory
Some of you know this already, but Rachel and I were recently faced with an unexpected turn in the health of our ten-year-old cat Mallory. I very much regret to say, that Mal passed away this evening after a two week battle with what ultimately proved to be lung cancer.
We are both feeling this loss very acutely, but are grateful that we were able to spare him further discomfort. We were with him at the end, and let him go with the knowledge that we had done our very best to save him, and that we had given him the best life we possibly could.
I want to thank you all for the kind words and thoughts during this time. We miss him more than I can say, but please know that we will be all right.
