Time to replace my car! Yeah!

Unbelievable! My third accident since New Years Eve. The extent of the damage from the first two was a bent license plate and scratched rear bumper, but this one finally did it. What's amazing is that my driving, which I will admit probably puts me at greater risk a lot of times, had nothing to do with any of them. I just keep being in the wrong

Stephanie and I had a good time at the coast on Saturday. Pacific City was clouded over so I landed at Nehalem Bay, a little north of Tillamook. We walked for about an hour, down the beach and back, and talked some. For dinner, we stopped at The Flying M Ranch on the way back. Service was poor, but otherwise, it was OK. I think it would have been a pretty good date had it been a date.

So, on Sunday, I asked if she would like to go out on a date, but I did a lousy job of it. At first, she sounded like she was reluctantly considering it, but then she declined. I didn't really think she would be interested, but I still should have tried harder. I am going to try to get a hold of her in the next couple days to talk and try to convince her to give me a chance. I called last night, but she was out.

So, other than that, the last few days haven't been too bad. I went out for about a 13 mile walk yesterday for no particular reason. Got a little sunburned because I wasn't planning on being out that long, but it was good otherwise.

As far as the car goes, I don't have collision coverage, but it was totally the other driver who was at fault, so her liability will cover it, and I am sure it will be totalled when the adjuster takes a look today. I will let my insurance company know after that.

Then I am thinking I might buy something like a used Jeep Cherokee or some other smaller SUV.
