My life is in my hands because I am a Latter Day Saint.
The world is in my hands because I am a 21 year old American college student.

Classes are going so well. I love it. I got a job yesterday. I'm going to be working for a marketing company called Progrexion 20 hours a week for 8 dollars and hour plus commission. They just opened their first office in Idaho a bit ago. Now I can afford to text all day, buy great foods like organic wheat and milk, and drive everywhere!

Nostalgically, I played an intense game of Quake II with Britton last night, and my junkie-like addiction to beats are fed by my tuning in to online radio stations (which will never die) like Bassdrive, Urbandrop, Bassjunkies, etc.

Today I will be driving from Rexburg to Provo, and from Provo to Rexburg. Or, I will be driving from Rexburg to Provo, and sleeping in SLC, and then driving to Rexburg tomorrow morning. I'll be doing this with Britton to pick up his car. Hopefully we'll be able to do some homework in the car reading to one another. I love doing homework now.

Hung out with Tiara last night, studied Russian. Was fun. She's cool. I don't know what to feel or think about anything relating to girls. All I know is I'm attracted to many of them.

"This country, with its institutions, belongs to the people who inhabit it. Whenever they shall grow weary of the existing government, they can exercise their constitutional right of amending it, or exercise their revolutionary right to overthrow it." "America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter, and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." "Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other." (Lincoln) "The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." "That government is best which governs the least, because its people discipline themselves." (Jefferson)

With the exception of the MTC and the mission, the people that work and study at BYU-Idaho are of a higher quality than I have ever associated with in my life. I love them and look forward to working closely with many of them in the next year. I love philosophy and am enjoying listening to a reading of false philosophy by Wittgenstein. Far more than philosophy, I love true principles which have been revealed from our master, YES YOU HEARD ME CORRECTLY: MASTER. God and his relationship to us is not philosophical to me anymore. Philosophy denotes opinion. There is no opinion about it. TRUTH, a word the world has become estranged to. TRUTH, a word associated with the emotionalist religious right, with nazism, with philosophy, which the world sees as nothing more than the poetry in the ivory tower. TRUTH, a childhood ideal long forgotten.

I just discovered a fabulous statement by Ayn Rand:

"You must be the kind of man who can get things done. But to get things done, you must love the doing, not the secondary consequences."
