Forest's mother hates me and has forbidden me from seeing anyone in his family. This is of course arbitrary to him as he is eighteen and owns a car. Still, apparently it is very difficult whenever I call, and his mother seems to find things for him to do when we have plans, so a decision was made to put things on hold until UM in september. i don't understand how someone could hate you. especially a mom. you are the kind of charmer moms go crazy for.

well, regardless, i'm very sorry about this mess. and even if some misguided people out there hate you, i love you.

(i am coming home on friday the 30th and probably staying until tuesday morning. perhaps i can see you?)

If we can work this out well it'd be wonderful, otherwise, tragedy. I'm leaving for Scotland on August 1st, so we might only have a few hours depending on what time you get home and when I leave--oh wait...hmm. I've just glanced up at my Calendar of Misfortunate Events and see that July has been blessed with 31 days. Splendid. Count me in.

excellent. and i am jealous that you are going to scotland. that sounds fantastic. and also, do you actually have a calendar of misfortunate events lemony snicket style, or was that just a clever name?

Eric, you silly boy, we are leaving for Scotland on the 3rd! The 31st and 1st are our all day rehearsals and then farewell performances at 7:30 though.
and my mom absolutely (ely or ley?) adores you, so that can cancels out Forest's mom's hate, right?

Eric!! Aren't you glad I already had that Series of Unfortunate Events calendar so you could keep it and use and treasure it!! Wow. wow. wow. I miss you!! I am sooooo excited for your swingin' graduation par-tay to which I am bringing the BEST Sinatra CD in existance that I recently found in my basement. Alrighty, see you tomorrow and plan on going to see the CTS show with Lexi, Hanna, Nick, Alyssa, and I!! Yea!!!
