So I've been sort of ignoring my finances for the last year, which isn't to say that I haven't been paying my bills, just that I haven't been thinking about it too much because it's honestly depressing.
I just sort of assumed that I was poor.
But get this, I actually decided to do some math and came out with some interesting figures.
First off, I made over 25 thousand last year, that's with being unemployed for about 4 months. That's not much, of course, but there's no way that I paid 25 grand in bills, my total debt isn't even 10k.
This year, with my GI bill and hourly wage, considering no over time (of which there will be some) I stand to make over 48 grand.
I'm no rich, but that's only 2 grand short of the median wage for a 25 year old male with a bachelor's degree. So what the fuck?
