And in the dead of night...
Well, today I went to MY first ever company picnic. I guess I should of listened to the 100 people who told me not to go. It was everything they described.
"the food sucks"
"its mainly for kids"
"its boring"
I ended up just sitting with some co-workers who brought their families including a 5 month old and 1 month old. It seemed like everyone had a newborn.
I realized that I'm not good with crowds of people. I like to stick around with a small group I am comfortable with. But I still tell myself to goto big events just so maybe I won't be like that anymore but I never have changed. I am really starting to think you can never change who you are and I have plenty of examples to back me up.
