Well, things are finally beginning to sort themselves into some sort of routine here, though we're still both seriously sleep deprived. Just three days or so after we were allowed to come home from the hospital, Jessica had a death in the family and we had to pack up and head out of town. A long car trip with a new born baby and a grieving lover is a hard one. But hopefully I was able to be there for her as much as she needed.
Monday, just two days after returning, both of which I worked, school started. I am both excited and afraid of my classes. I think my Japanese class will be great, but most likely the hardest thing I've ever tried to learn. The other classes aren't so difficult in terms of material, but the sheer volume of work is going to be a challenge this semester. especially the honors history course. I'm taking one of my courses online this semester, which should be helpful, but finding the discipline to do it is going to be another challenge for me.
Jessica is taking all online courses this semester, and luckily, one of those is the same one I'm taking, so we will be able to help each other.
Anyways, just wanted to keep you guys in the loop. I know I promised pictures, and they are coming, I just haven't gotten to scan them in yet.
Life has at once become meaningful in ways it never was before.
