The pizza business has been slow the past week or two, undoubtedly connected to the wonderful weather and the urge that follows such weather to grill out, picnic or otherwise spend time out of doors and away from the couch and television. And while I very much enjoy the beautiful sunshine, warm breezes, and can greatly appreciate the need to get out and lock the Seasonal Affective Disorder in the attic until next November I sure do miss the 15-18 bucks an hour I average when the weather sucks.

In other news, I'm struggling to get through De Beauvoir's Ethics of Ambiguity, so that I can write my last paper. The insights and ideas are interesting, but her philosophical writing is so terribly meandering. Each sentence makes perfect sense on its own, but when you start combining them it becomes easy to get tangled up. (And I thought her boyfriend Sartre was tough reading...)
