One of these days I really should attend a recording of Wait Wait, since it's in the Chicago area and all.

I have been wanting to for a couple of years now. I'll arrange a road trip around it someday.

I know that shsilver has gone to one and said that it was a lot of fun.

Yup. Had a great time. Some day I'll have to go back. I like Whadaya Know, but since they pulled it from the local station, I haven't listened much. I do have the Whadaya Know game from Out of the Box games, complete with Michael Feldman Bobblehead, but it really doesn't work well unless you have a sizable group.

I voted for Wait, Wait, which fan Perianne Lurie appeared on back in 2000.

Jeff and I have also gone, several times - it's a blast.

It's certainly no contest for me, WWDTM is one of my all time favorite radio programs. Feldman gets on my nerves after the first hour.

Yeah. It isn't that I don't enjoy parts of Feldman's show, but WWDTM is consistently more better and I adore the announcer. The fit he threw when Leonard Nimoy was on the show was enough to endear him to me for life - he was such a raging fanboy, it was adorable.

And Nimoy was wonderfully funny in response

As I said above, I can take about an hour of Micheal Feldman ... sometimes.

*nods* These results really don't surprise me. Feldman has been trying too hard for awhile now; I turn him off because he annoys me.

OTOH, we've caught WWDTM while driving somewhere and I've been convulsed with laughter. Wow, news guys being funny, who'da thunk it? We listened on Valentine's day while stuck in traffic that we shouldn't have been stuck in and it kept us entertained rather than being annoyed on a day you really don't want to be annoyed.

How's that for a run-on sentence? Heck, I can even do better than that, some days1
