"A big kid with a big smile who tilted his baseball cap to the side, made up raps for friends and listened to heavy metal, 18-year-old William "Willie" Barnaby was often the life of the party.

Friday night was no different.

He and 20 or 30 young people gathered at a teenager's house to drink and listen to music. Barnaby hopped from friend to friend, chatting and joking.

Friends say he was drinking, but he wasn't noticeably drunk. He hung out for a while with his friend, Josh Deutscher, who had come home from the University of Connecticut for a visit.

After 30 to 45 minutes, Barnaby headed home with his girlfriend, hung out in his driveway with a handful of other buddies for a few minutes, and then went to bed.

Twelve hours later, he was dead."

Has something ever happened to you where your look on reality has completely changed????

Well the death of Willie, a kid I knew, has completely changed my outlook on my choices.
