Author’s Note: I decided to post this chapter already. I don’t know if you guys have noticed, but I don’t have a regular updating schedule. I just do it whenever. Usually every day or every other day, I’m going to try and keep doing it like that. I’ve been writing really well the past couple of days; the words are just like, pouring out. I think I’ve finally decided what else I want to happen in the story and how I want it to end. There’s going to be some major angst coming up, but not between Brendon and Ryan. I’ve already decided I’m not making them break up or anything in this fic, but some really, really bad things are going to happen. Anyway, enjoy. <3
Masterpost Chapter 12
I let out an exhausted groan as I snuggle into my pillow. “I can’t move, Ryan,” I whine. “Is it possible to die from too much sex?” He grunts a little as he rolls over to face me. We woke up this morning grinning like idiots, and we had sex again. And then again. And again. I just can’t do it anymore.
“I’m so fucking sore,” he complains. “I have it worse than you do.”
“Okay, maybe that third time was pushing it,” I admit. He nods mournfully and groans as he inches over to snuggle into me. We just lie there like that for a while, not talking, just lying peacefully.
“Last night was amazing,” Ryan says after a few moments of silence. I smile as I wrap my arm around him and tug him closer.
“Yeah, it was.” I agree. He smiles a little before leaning up to kiss me. He sighs a little and melts into it, making a humming sound. I tangle my fingers in his hair and deepen the kiss, and he rolls over onto me. His tongue moves effortlessly in and out of my mouth, and his fingers play with the waistband of my boxers.
“Again, Ryan? Again?” I ask exasperatedly. He grins seductively at me. “I honestly don’t think I can do it anymore,” I say seriously. He laughs a little and licks along my collarbone.
“What if I do all the work?” he argues. “You can just lie there.” Ryan on top of me? Okay, that does sound hot. But I’m seriously concerned for my health at this point. This will be the fifth time we’ve had sex in less than twenty-four hours.
“What are you gonna do, ride me?” I ask playfully, pinching his side. He licks his lips a little and smiles.
“Well, yeah,” he says. “Sounds hot to me.” I bite my lip as he leans down and kisses me and starts rubbing me through my boxers. I start breathing harder as I can feel myself getting hard. He grins and leans back up.
“Are you still gonna say no?” he smirks. Sneaky little bastard.
“Whatever, but if you can’t sit down for a week, don’t blame me,” I joke. He swiftly strips our boxers off and then grabs a condom and the lube and gets right to work. I’ve quickly figured out that he really likes sex. Not that I would ever complain about that. How lucky am I? Now when all the other guys are always talking about how much ass they get, I won’t feel so left out.
“I know I said you could just lie there, but could you be somewhat responsive?” Ryan asks. I didn’t even realize that he put the condom on me, and he’s just ready to go. Well then. I laugh a little at his enthusiasm. He’s got to be insanely sore right now, and he still wants to do it again. He leans down to kiss me and wastes no time in lowering himself down onto me. There was no point in stretching him first; we just had sex thirty minutes ago.
He closes his eyes and bites his lip as he starts a rhythm. I exhale sharply as he moves above me. Okay, I definitely like this better with him on top of me. I grab his hips and roll my own hips up to meet his thrusts. He adjusts himself a little and then grinds down fast, throwing his head back and letting out a strangled moan. He keeps moaning as he continues to move himself up and down at a steady pace. He opens his eyes and looks at me, breathing hard and letting out soft whimpers. He looks beautiful like this, when he just lets go.
I squeeze my eyes shut when he grinds down particularly hard, sending shocks up my spine. I groan loudly and move one of my hands up to his neck so I can pull him down to attach our lips. It all just feels so right. Even though my muscles ache and I’m sore and tired, this is perfect. Ryan breaks our kiss to let out a choked sob. “Oh, God,” he moans quietly. I put my hands on his hips again and start thrusting faster, making him shake. He starts sucking on my neck, and I move one hand to his cock and start jerking him.
“Ryan,” I gasp out. “Fuck.” Ryan shudders and cries out when he comes, and I come almost immediately after he does, with him still slowly riding out the orgasm. I take in a deep breath, trying to get some air. Ryan slumps down onto me, nuzzling my neck.
“Mmm, I think that time was my favorite,” he mumbles. I laugh and run a hand through his hair. He gently pulls off of me, and I throw the condom away.
“Me too, I like you being on top.” He smirks at me before lying down again.
“Yeah, because that way your lazy ass doesn’t have to do anything,” he laughs. I hum in response and cuddle him some more.
“So, can we reschedule that shopping trip? Because I can barely move right now,” I point out. He laughs and sighs.
“I was going to ask the same thing,” he smiles.
“Oh, shit. Tonight is our group date,” I remember. Ryan lets out a dying cat noise.
“I can’t. I can’t even move,” he whines.
“We’ve got to. We’ve been planning this for weeks. Plus, it’s our two-month anniversary today,” I say with a sweet smile and a slight pout. That’ll get me anything I want from him. He visibly melts.
“Fine,” he sighs dramatically. “God, you and your stupid cute face.” I beam at him and kiss him on the cheek, and as much as he tries to force himself not to smile, I can see the corners of his mouth turn up.
“You know, none of us have even decided what we want to do yet,” I mumble. This isn’t a very well thought-out date night.
“Well, we could always just go to the movies. Besides, you know all everyone wants to do is make out with each other.”
“Not Spencer and Jon,” I argue. Ryan snorts and shakes his head.
“We’ll see,” he laughs. I stare at him confusedly for a few minutes before shrugging.
“Oh well, let’s get ready.”
***
We ended up going to the movies. We saw a comedy this time, despite Ryan’s ongoing protests. It doesn’t matter; we just made out the whole time anyway. So did William and Gabe. Spencer and Jon were sitting in the middle of all of us, just looking awkward. Now we’re on our way to get something to eat. I was quick to demand we get fast food, seeing as the last time we went to a nice restaurant together didn’t go too well.
By the time we’re all seated with our food in the nearest McDonald’s, I’m in a pretty good mood. Of course, most people would do something a lot more special for their two-month anniversary than a movie and greasy fast food, but I like this; us here with our best friends. It’s nice. Ryan takes the hand that he isn’t eating with and tangles it with mine. I glance up and smile at him. It’s kind of different now that we’ve had sex, but not really. It’s like, we just know each other completely inside and out now. I just feel closer to him, and I think that’s partially because we waited for the right time. It gave meaning to it; made it special. I lean over and peck his lips, just because I can. He blushes a little and smiles. William snorts. I glance at him, slightly offended.
“You guys fucked,” he says indifferently. Spencer giggles. He has been in such a good mood tonight and frankly, it’s freaking me out. He has been nice. Nice.
Ryan scoffs. “That makes it sound so cheap.” Jon raises an eyebrow.
“I didn’t hear you deny it,” William replies.
“Why do you always know everything?” I pout.
“I can just tell. I’m good at reading people,” he shrugs. “And you guys totally fucked.” Ryan huffs again at the term. William sighs. “Okay, fine, made love, whatever.” I turn red and Spencer laughs again. Gabe is clasping his hands together and looking at us proudly.
“It’s not like it’s any of your business anyway,” I say.
“Was it good?” Jon giggles out. I scowl at him. Ryan huffs again.
“Okay fine. You want details? I’ll give you details,” Ryan starts. I slap his shoulder.
“Ryan,” I hiss.
“No, they want to know, so I’m gonna tell them everything,” he smirks. Jon’s eyes widen like he realized his mistake. I groan and put my face in my hands. Ryan always has to prove a point.
“So last night, the first time we did it,” he begins. I groan again.
“Oh, God,” I mumble. There’s no stopping him now. He blatantly ignores me in favor of continuing his story.
“It was great. Kinda awkward at first, and a little painful, but when Brendon hit the right spot, oh my God, it was incredible,” he chatters away. William’s mouth is hanging open, his face red, Gabe is listening intently, clearly not understanding that Ryan is doing this to teach them not to be nosy, Jon is just sitting there looking like he wants to crawl in a hole and die, and Spencer’s whole body is shaking in silent laughter. “And at first I didn’t even think it was gonna fit,” Spencer erupts into loud laughter this time and I just gently bang my head on the table and wait for it to be over. “Because you know, Brendon’s not small, so yeah, but he lifted my hips up and found the right angle, and then I was being so loud the people next door had to have heard me,” he laughs. “And-"
“For the love of Spencer’s mom, please stop!” William shrieks. Ryan smirks.
“So it was pretty much the most intense orgasm I’ve ever had in my life. Then we woke up this morning and had sex four more times. The last time was the best, because I got on top of Brendon-"
“Oh my God, Jon, I hate you,” I wail. Jon cringes and shrugs apologetically. Spencer is still laughing.
“-and I think I like being on top, because it feels better that way, although it feels pretty awesome every time. I’m so sore now though, it hurts to sit. Brendon’s pretty fantastic and also very attentive to me and not just focused on himself. He always tries to get me off first-"
“I’m leaving. Oh God, I can’t take this, I’m leaving!” Jon exclaims. William jumps up and hurries off with him, leaving Spencer gasping for air and Gabe looking confused.
“Was it something I said?” Ryan asks innocently. I stare him down, glaring. He looks serious for a few seconds before his lips twitch up and he starts laughing. “That’ll teach them to be nosy,” he laughs out.
“Do you have any idea how much you’ve just embarrassed me?” I whine.
“Don’t be embarrassed, they’re our best friends,” he shrugs.
“Did you really have to be so detailed?” I complain.
“Baby, if I’m gonna do something, I’m not gonna half-ass it,” he states, patting my cheek and pecking my lips. Spencer is trying to regain some composure and Gabe has gone back to happily eating his fries.
“Spencer, shut up,” I say. He grins at me.
“At least you know you’re good in bed,” he offers. Ryan nods, smiling.
“Very,” he winks. I sigh.
“Aw, I’m so happy for you guys,” Gabe says sweetly. “You really do love each other,” he says a bit more seriously. Ryan looks at me, and we share a smile.
“Yeah, we do,” I say.
“Did you guys know that William and I have been together for two whole weeks now?” Gabe asks with wide, bright eyes. We nod and smile at him.
“Ryan, you’ve turned this whole group gay,” Spencer smiles. “You two were originally the only gay couple in this group date, and now look at us,” he sighs mournfully.
“Hey, it’s not my fault,” he defends. “Plus, I didn’t turn anyone gay.” Suddenly Jon comes bounding up to us.
“You guys wanna go to the carnival?” he asks excitedly.
“Ooh, Brendon!” Ryan squeals, turning to me. “Can we go? Please? You know I love the carnival and we haven’t been since we were like ten!” he begs. I smile at him indulgently. How can I say no to that face?
“Of course we can go,” I say before getting up to throw our trash away. Ryan lets out another excited squeal and ushers Spencer out of his seat to spin him around in a circle. Spencer laughs, looking thoroughly amused.
“Ryan really loves the carnival,” I laugh with a playful roll of my eyes, and Spencer stops spinning him and pulls him into a half-hug.
“You’re like the gay little brother I never wanted,” he says sweetly, and Ryan flicks his nose.
“Well then, let’s go!” Gabe says, yanking my hand.
***
“Holy shit, this is not the same carnival we went to when we were kids. This is huge,” Ryan breathes. I grab his hand and tug him forward.
“What do you wanna do first?” I ask.
“Um…Ferris wheel?” he suggests.
“Sure,” I smile. Gabe and William went off to one of the other rides already.
“Spence, look, a photo booth!” Jon points. Spencer raises his eyebrows. “Come on, let’s go take pictures,” he says, grabbing Spencer’s hand. To my surprise, Spencer smiles and starts walking with him.
“We’ll be at the Ferris wheel!” I call after them, and Jon waves a hand.
Within a couple of minutes, Ryan and I are in line for the Ferris wheel. It’s actually not too crowded here tonight, which is weird for a Saturday. Plus, the carnival is only here for two weeks.
“Oh, look. Cotton candy!” I point at the man beside the Ferris wheel selling cotton candy. “You want some?” Ryan smiles and nods at me. “Okay, I’ll be right back,” I say before walking the few feet over to the vendor. I get one big cotton candy for us to share, and then go back to my place in the line to where Ryan suddenly looks uncomfortable. There’s a girl there, she looks older than us, obviously flirting with him, and what is it about my boyfriend that always attracts every possible person to him the minute I leave for two seconds?
“-nice, but um,” I hear Ryan mumbling when I return. I look at the girl expectantly, eyebrows raised.
“Oh hi, I’m Emily,” she smiles. “So anyway,” she turns back to Ryan. “Yeah I’m just here with friends, and I saw you standing here all by yourself-" I move beside Ryan and put my arm around his waist.
“Here, baby,” I say when I hand him the cotton candy. The girl freezes for a second before smiling.
“Oh, I see,” she giggles. “Well, actually,” she says, tilting her head. “You’re both pretty cute,” she winks. Is this girl serious? Is she serious right now?
“Um,” Ryan says awkwardly.
“Maybe all three of us could, you know, hang out later or something,” she continues with that same slutty smirk. Ryan’s eyes get huge, and his mouth twists into disgust.
I burst out laughing. “You gotta be shitting me, lady,” I laugh. “Are you seriously suggesting a threesome with two seventeen-year-old boys?” I ask incredulously. She looks shocked, like she didn’t think we were that young. Honestly, though, Ryan looks like a teenage girl. “We’re gay, and we’re together, so fuck off,” I laugh some more. She scowls a little before retreating back to wherever she came from.
“Well that was the strangest thing that’s happened to me in a quite a while,” Ryan mumbles, laughing a little.
“Honestly, that is the second time I’ve had to tell someone to back off of you,” I say.
“It’s not my fault I’m so overwhelmingly sexy,” he says with a shrug. I roll my eyes and playfully bite his cheek.
“Ow!” He says, grabbing his cheek. “Dude, you can’t go around biting people’s faces,” he chides playfully. I laugh and put my arm around his shoulders.
“Here, have some cotton candy,” I say, grabbing a huge chunk of it and shoving it into his mouth. He splutters and tries to talk through the huge wad with a scowl on his face, and I have to laugh at him, it’s too cute. He finally swallows it all.
“You idiot, I could’ve choked to death!” He slaps my arm and makes a face at me.
“It’s alright, you know I’m always down for giving you CPR,” I giggle. He rolls his eyes.
“I’m dating a child,” he mutters, shaking his head. It’s our turn to get on the Ferris wheel now, and we both climb into one of the compartments.
“You having fun?” I ask him. I don’t want him to think I don’t care that’s it’s supposed to be a special day for us.
“Yeah, I am,” he smiles. “Today was perfect.”
“I just-I know that this isn’t exactly ideal for an anniversary-"
“Bren, it’s two months, not a year. This is perfect,” he smiles, leaning his head on my shoulder. The Ferris wheel starts moving slowly, and it’s kind of chilly out tonight, but not really cold. The breeze feels good. Ryan sighs and kisses my throat, burrowing into my shoulder.
“This is nice,” he says quietly, as to not disturb the mood. Suddenly, he laughs. “Hey, do you remember the last time we were here?” I smile, knowing exactly what he’s referring to. I nod. “You were too short to ride, so I went and rode the little one for kids with you, and my mom took our picture with that creepy clown, and you were about to cry because he was touching you,” he continues, laughing. I grin, thinking back.
“I was ten, okay. You can’t blame me.” He smiles and kisses my cheek.
“You know you’re still scared of them,” he replies knowingly.
“I am not,” I scoff. He raises his eyebrows, and I roll my eyes. “Okay, maybe a little.”
“You’re adorable,” he laughs. I’m about to tell him that no, he is the adorable one, when something on the ground below us catches my eye.
“Oh my God!” I exclaim. “Look,” I point. Down below are Spencer and Jon, walking to one of the game booths, holding hands. Ryan gapes.
“I told you,” he smiles.
“You really did turn everyone gay,” I muse. He huffs and flicks my nose, but when I pout at him, he kisses it and murmurs a “sorry.” I smile and kiss him briefly, pulling back when I feel the Ferris wheel stopping.
After we get off, Ryan’s phones rings, and he’s confused for a second before he remembers that he can talk on the phone now. “Hello?” he says. He smiles and mouths, ‘mom’ to me.
“Yeah, no I don’t need anything.” I can hear her voice through the phone, but I can’t make out what she’s saying. “I’m at the carnival with Brendon and the other guys.”
He grabs my hand and we start walking toward the next ride he wants to go on. “Yeah, okay. I’ll come by later before you leave. Alright, I love you, too.”
“And I love you too, Julie!” I yell into the phone. Ryan laughs and holds the phone to my ear so I can hear her say, “I love you too, Brenny!” She is the only person that has ever been allowed to call me that, except for when Gabe did the other night.
Ryan hangs up. “She’s going into work tonight, so I’m gonna go say goodnight to her before I go back to your house.” I nod, and we keep walking.
After a while, we’ve been on all the rides at least once, some of them twice. I spot a game booth with gigantic stuffed polar bears (polar bears at a carnival?), and I tug Ryan over there. Polar bears are his favorite animals. He smiles when he sees where I dragged him to. The game is the one where you have to throw the baseball at the bottles and knock them over. I totally used to play baseball when I was little. I end up winning on the first try. The guy reluctantly hands me over the polar bear, because hardly anyone ever actually wins them. Ryan beams at me when I hand him the bear and he grabs my hand and drags me to a booth.
Ryan ends up winning me a giant stuffed purple unicorn. Spencer laughs when he sees it, but I wanted it. It’s adorable with its little white tail and sparkly horn. Jon got Spencer a goldfish. He said he only gave it to him because his cats would eat it, but I know he won it for him on purpose. Gabe won William about ten different stuffed animals in varying size, and I think that’s about the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. William is smiling adoringly at Gabe while trying not to drop his mound of prizes.
When I get back home, I go up to my room and set Leonard (as I’ve named my new unicorn) on my bed and take my shoes off. I go downstairs and watch tv to pass the time until Ryan gets back from seeing his mom.
“Oh, sweetie, you’re back,” my mom says, coming out of the kitchen. “Have fun?”
“Yeah,” I smile. “We went to the carnival and saw a movie and ate and stuff.” She smiles sweetly at me. “Ryan won me a unicorn,” I say offhandedly.
“How sweet,” she laughs. “Did you get him something?”
“Yeah, a giant polar bear,” I nod.
“You two are so sweet it’s disgusting.” She shakes her head with a fond look. “Is he not staying here tonight?”
“Yeah, he’s just saying goodnight to Julie first,” I reply. My mom opens her mouth to talk but then I hear my front door open, and Ryan walks into the living room, sobbing.
“Brendon,” he cries, running over and collapsing onto me. My mom rushes over, worried.
“Baby, what’s wrong?” I ask him, panicking. “Ryan?” He starts sobbing harder, the tears pouring out. He inhales sharply, trying to catch his breath. His cheeks are pink, and I can tell he ran all the way here.
“M-mom’s dead,” he chokes out, a shattering sob wrenching through him immediately after he gets the words out. My eyes widen, and I feel tears fill my own eyes. My mom collapses onto the couch, and everything is spinning.
