(no subject)
Well vacation has ended and it is raining and that makes me sad! But I'm listening to some Billy Joel so that makes me happy. Amie got me stuck on him. Okay so update on the weekend...
Saturday- Woke up at 6:30 and packed all my track stuff and then ate some breakfast and went to Coe- Brown for our Track meet at Merrimack Valley! So on the way up I sat with Ms. Amie Lank and we were talking about a few "select people" neither one of our friends, but it was just funny because it was like 8 O'clock in the morning and I was laughing hysterically. So we got to the track meet and it started raining, not hard in the morning, more like sprinkling, but they set up the tent and then Jessey, Jenna, Courtney and I all warmed up for the 1600. Ekk, I did kinda crappy, but I will write that story later... okay nevermind I'll tell it now.
++++ Well first of all we didn't warm up good at all, so I still felt really tight, but anyways we get into our groups and there were 2 groups, and I was in the fast one with Jessey and Jenna, so we lined up and I ended up being next to Jessey. So I was standing there waiting for the guy to give directions and the guy( he was deaf, so he had a speech impediment) was like " I'm going to sound the gun, WHEN I sound the gun a 2nd time come back." so I thought we were just gonna do like a trial, so I was thinking to myself, "why waste my energy now, keep it for the race, so I did." but come to find out he was only going to shoot the gun once, so I had such a crappy start and it was partly my fault, but he confused me, because he said "when", instead of "if". ++++
So right after our race the Hopkinton coach comes up to us (Jessey, Jenna and I) and goes "Ummm I just wanted to let you know that in the 4 by 8, two of your girls went on the grass and I'm not gonna say anything, but they could have been DQ'd so I would apprciate it if you told your coach." So I was like "umm okay" and we told Ms. Ingram and she told Cox and so that got all taken care of and I was like "the mans crazy, so we shouls just not listen to him."
So then I had to wait a wicked long time to do long jump, and it was pooring, but it was still fun. I was eating lollipops like CRAZY. I think had like probably had 7, Oh well though, then Ms. Kennedy got mad at me she's like "That's so bad for you... blah blah blah" like I understand she was trying to be nice, but grr. Then me and Andee watched boys triple jump and I found a broom (actually it was 1/2 a broom) and I was sweeping the dirt and Andee and Sarah thought it was funny. Then I did the long jump(not I long jumped before eating all the lollipops, and I did soooo crappy, but the weather was partly to blame. Then I stood with Ali and Sarah for a while and Sarah took pictures (even one of my tongue!) and I gave Ali 2 lollipops
a Cherry and a Watermelon and it took her like 10 minutes to choose which one to eat. and then I walked with Kathy and Jessey for a while.
Then we got to the Bus to come home and Jesse (Reed) got Ms. Kennedy's cell phone number and he kept calling her and it was pretty darn funny. Then Amie taught me how to slap my gum.. haha and the bus driver got all mad.
Then we got to Coe- Brown and both my parents were there to pick me up so I was like "oh god" and we were going to dinner at the Socha's the people I'm babysitting for July and August. So I ran home and changed (it was nasty, but at least it wasn't wet)and we went over for dinner and I played so many games of "sorry" I thought I was going to shoot myself. But it was cute because Jack wouldn't let his mother put him to bed, I HAD to, I love him. So then since I put jack to bed I HADto put the girls to bed too. and I was laying with Sydney and I was falling asleep. So then I went down stairs and played cards with the Adults and we left at like 11. Then I came home, showered and got in bed and I was asleep by like 11:15.
Then I woke up early this morning to go babysit with Kristi at church only to have no kids. So we watched " the buttercreme gang" and hung out. Then I went shopping and now I need to go do homework... Type more later.
