Sooo....I decided to update because for once I actually do not have any work due for tomorrow. Block has been crazy and I am so glad tomorrow is my last day of classes and then finals begin Thursday annd I will be done on Tuesday! I can't move home until Thursday though, I have to help make sure all the freshmen move the hell out lol. I got my student teaching placement today, I am definitely in Pearl River (the district where my Mom works, but I am not allowed to student teach in her school), I have lil 1st graders for my first placement and 6th grade English for my second placement, ugh lol. I am so excited because it is one of the best school districts in the state.
Anyway.....I FINALLY got to see Brian this weekend! After 6 months he was finally home :-) He came to my house Friday night at like 1am and surprised me (my parents were away thank god lol). I was in my pj's and i looked terrible but he said i was beautiful :-) It was soooo great to see him, he didn't leave until 6AM lol. He was home until today, but he was busy seeing his family so that was the only time we had with each other. He went back to NC today, but will be home again in a few weeks. So I will just have to wait and see what happens, but so far so good.
I saw Melissa and Gabe this weekend and they got engaged!!!!! I am super excited for them and I get to be a bridemaid! The wedding won;t be until Fall 2007 though. Her ring is gorgeous! They also just got an apartment in Oswego and there is a spare bedroom so I always have a place to stay when I visit lol. I will definitely be taking some trips up there this summer. It was so nice to see them this weekend, they stayed at my house becauser the ring she picked out is at a store near by. It was so funny because i thought they were sleeping when Brian came over but then me and him were downstairs on the couch and i heard them moving around, so I figured they knew. Wellllllll at 9AM Saturday morning Melissa woke me up and I had only been sleeping for 3 hours and she had no idea he had been there and she was freaking out, it was so funny. Then they took me to the mall with them to shop for new clothes and apartment stuff. I was dead tired, I am still recovering. It was a good weekend though.
Speaking of no sleep, I really should try and get to bed. Hopefully I can update again soon, it depends on how much work I still have left for finals, since I only have a few exams and mostly projects to do, plus a 30 page paper, ugh.
