Welp...I've been on duty allllll weekend and its driving me CRAZY (I can't leave the building from 3pm Friday to 12pm Sunday because I am the RA on call). I did get to sleep relatively late this morning, which was a plus, even if some kid came knocking on my door 15 minutes before my alarm was going to go off, because he locked himself out of his room and needed me to get his key. Other highlights of my amazingly boring weekend (that still isn't over)- I watched The Notebook (and balled my eyes out), I saw some Lifetime movie about a pregnant teenager (aren't they all either that or eating disorders anyway?), and I watched The Wedding Date tonight. I also caught up with my friend John who I hadn't spoken to in months (he just called, out of the blue). I also was in a very creative mood and made Paul a picture frame with our beautiful picture from RA training and I made my lil bro from phi psi a picture frame with our picture from Bid day. I love to do arts and crafts. My Dad and I started planning our trip for January, hopefully it will be to Costa Rica, but he has to check with the time share company for availability. I love going away with just my Dad, we always have such a good time and its quality bonding time because he works so hard and I don't see him a lot. It will be a great way to end my Christmas break. The best part of this weekend has to be Marcella coming for a surprise visit! She is one of my favorite sorority sisters and we have done soooo much ridiculous stuff together, but she graduated in May and I've only seen her twice since then (once at Tashy's graduation party and once when we went to see Gavin DeGraw and got shitfaced off of a bottle of cheap wine). Welllllll she called me while I was in the cage (RA office) and was like "blah blah, what are you doing?" and I was like nothing, I'm bored, what's up with you? and she was being all weird on the phone, so I turn around to look out the window and when I turned back around she was standing in front of me!!!! I started screaming and hugging, of course. She stayed for like two hours and we caught up on everything. I really miss her, and all my other friends that graduated. I feel so old now, I still can't believe I'm a senior, it seriously bugs me out because freshmen year does not seem like that long ago, AT ALL.
Last weekend was awesome, I got to see a bunch of my family and watch my cousin play defensive end for Villanova and they kicked Northeastern's butt 38-20. I also got to hang with my parents for the entire weekend, which was nice because I barely saw them this summer since I was living at our cabin (especially my mom because I saw my Dad once a week when he had his poker game with his buddies). I'm glad I have a good relationship with my parents, they are amazing people. I didn't see my brother though, he was in Virginia at his pledge brother Grant's wedding. Oh well, I'll be home in 3 weeks again for October break.
Anyway, there isn't much else happening. Hopefully I can be more serious about updating this, but I always say that and it never happens. Not that people read this anyway, I do it mostly to procrastinate and pass the time when I'm bored. I'm sure it will happen again soon.....
