first day of classes
I am in a pretty good mood today. It was the first day of classes and I had 3 classes. I had Math 109 @ 10am and we started doing probablity, so far so good. Then at 11am I had Geology and we drew diagrams of the inside of the Earth, not too difficult (yet). Then I went to Mills for a lunch date with Chrissy and Allison and people, of course it was mobbed because they just redid the inside and have all this new food like Asian and Mexican and shit. Me and Chrissy split a salad and sandwich though, no line to wait on. I then went to my Ed Psych class and found out three of my sorority sisters are in the same class so that'll be fun. My lab was canceled today because all the geology profs are working together and are waiting until next week to do lab #1, soooo I went to the ed department to get approval to overload my credits so I can take 19 semester hours so I can finish my requirements for block for next year and the dean wasn't too happy with me taking so many classes but she signed the slip, so now I am taking 6 classes and 1 mini (5 week class for 1 credit). That stresses me out a little but I will make it work. By this point it was blizzarding outside and I came back here to get my mail and had a package slip so I went to the union to buy some school supplies and then went to the mail room to get my package. My car was sliding all over the roads though, it was pretty crappy out. I got my new Tommy Hilfiger sheets though, they're BRIGHT yellow, I love them. Then I had cage hour and sat in there and started making notes cards on the notes I just took in Geology today, and I plan to keep up with all my notes and readings this semester. Now I'm waiting for Chrissy to get here so we can make some dinner rather than trek in the below zero blizzard weather to the dining hall.
