I couple of months ago we went out to dinner with my parents when they were here to see the baby. Me and Andy were taking turns with the baby and going outside to smoke. When it was my turn Makenna (5) came outside with me and we were just talking.

Makenna: Will I have to do chores forever?
Me: Yup, until you move out
Makenna: And have my own house?
Me: Yup
Makenna: And my own children?
Me: Yup
Makenna: I have to find a step dad
Me: Why? You have a step dad already
Makenna: To marry!

Since mommy married Andy and he's their step dad, then she thinks she's supposed to find a step dad to marry. I thought that was adorable!
