i cherrish every hug
so i go away for 5 days and miss sooo much. i mean i geuss it makes sense, things arent just gonna hold on till come back lol, that wouldnt be very fair to everyone. hah. so i'm glad everyone seemed to have a good week. atleast everyone i've talked to, or read their livejournals seemed to ahve a good week...but somone i havent done either of..i want to talk to you. someday soon please. it would mean kinda a lot. you might know who you are..but you might not. so this might bepointless. but i want to talk to you.
aruba was good. no one there knows where they're going. we didnt get "lost" everynight, we just couldnt find the places we were looking for. so we tried to make reservations at this place sapposivly called "que pasa" the hotel connects us by phone, they tell us they cant take us till 9:30. we say okay. its quater to 8, they call back and say then can take us at 8. the hotel gives us directions. we're searing down this street for a little sign and we dont see it. so we ask someone else, they tell us its in downtown. not where we were at all. so we go to a gas station near downtown and this guy tells us to go right, and points left. then we get down town and we're driving behind the rennasance hotel like we wre told, going the wonrg way on a few one way streets, and not knowing where the hell we are. asking people walking down the street if they've heard of "que pasa" no one seems to have heard of it. i start to quiestion if this place really exists. so we ask this couple of locals walking down the street if they've heard of que pasa restaurant and they say no, looking kind of confused. we go mayeb 20 feet, and see 2 members if the "visable team" (i think like security) riding 4 wheelers down the street. we ask them. they look at us like we're retarded and say.."..right there!" it was right infront of thos people we JUST asked. so we say..where? and they say there!! so we say where do we park. and he poinst right behind us and says.."THERE" so we make him wait, and show us where it is, we get out of the car, and walk. we coudlnt tell it was the restaurant till about 5 feet away from it. it was soo hidden.
so NExt they dont have us down for reservations. and thers only one guy working in the entire place. and it was a guy who called my dad back way back in the hotel. and he said he never called. so we end up eating there, adn it was pretty good..but who called us? and who had our real reservations?
it was funny too because the restuarants signs and menu say "que pasa?" and i was like.."i geuss they dont know if they exist either!" okay not that funny. sorry
wow that was really long, i apologize. but i have one more story i feel is worth while to tell.
so we go to this magic show right? cuase i've got the intellegence and maturity level of a 4 year old. so i love magic..ask neil lol. so this guy does really good magic. like illusions and stuff. and he takes out this little wodden box. and he's like "i need a member of the audeience to hold this box and not touch it" so he comes down, and puts it on the table of this little boy and his mother about 3 tables awawy from me. and he says " now i need you to watch this box BUT DONT TOUCH IT!! and when i say 'WHOS GOT THE BOX' i need you to jump up and ya "YO HO HO AND A BOTTLE OF RUM!...well you say soda in your case. so when i say 'WHOS GOT THE BOX' you stand up, face the crowd and wave your arms and say 'YO HO HO AND A BOTTLE OF SODA' okay?" he turns away, and quickly turns back and points and the kid and goes "WHO'S GOT THE BOX?" and the kid just sits there and looks at his mom and kida like motions to her. (now when i saw this i just hought "he doesnt want to do its he's too shy ot too ' cool' so he's making his mom do it lol) but the lady goes " ..he doesnt speak english" hhahah he was from norway and that lady was his translator! it was realy funnyat the time. and the whole show they magiciean woudl ask how to say things in norway and he picked him to do and easier trick. the kid looked young maybe liek 12 but he was super cute.
okay enough is enough. sorry about all that boring stuff, i just thought it would spice things up alittle maybe not. so i'm a loser okay?
oh, but on a more important side...i saw a sea turtle while scuba diving. and a sea horse. but if you didnt know, sea turtles are my fave. like they're in myu top 4 list of animals. so it was wonderful. i got so excited and started pointing to it like crazy and smiling like crazy. smiling.. which is usally a good thing. but when you're underwater, wiht a mask on, and you smile...it gets messed up and lets all the water in. so i had to try to clear it fast, and control my smiling, and get back to looking at thei beautiful sea turtle. *sigh* it was so wonderful.
