Holiday
I have taken today off, which means I slept in until 10:00 a.m., have been lazing about all day, and am now off to the library to stock up on fodder for tomorrow's lazing. It's a sweet, sweet thing to take the day for myself and to stretch the Fourth of July weekend out like this, especially since naps come so easily to me these days.
When our neighbor moved, we discovered that we were indeed receiving our free cable through her, so July is our no television experiment month. Not that I'm going cold turkey. I'm going to try watching some Torchwood (thank you, Netflix) and I think I'll re-watch some West Wing episodes, too. This should ease the transition and also play nicely into my plans for not doing anything productive all weekend.
