Friday again
But not so bad this time. As it turns out my health insurance is better than I'd thought, and is covering much more than I'd feared, which means that our doctors and nurses are getting paid without my having to set up an elaborate 10-year payment plan and also that I can keep paying of the credit cards and student loans. Huge, huge relief. Though if I'd checked my out-of-pocket limit earlier I could have saved myself much panic.
I have a dress, wrap, and shoes for my brother's wedding. The dress pretty nicely hides the lingering post-baby belly flop and is blue silk besides; the wrap is charcoal-colored cashmere. Both were on serious sales. The shoes are old friends, but work nicely with the outfit, so I shouldn't be a family embarrassment in spite of how much I dislike shopping.
And it's not entirely blustery so N and I are scampering away from work this afternoon for another walk in the arboretum. After which we are going to watch Wall-E and decide on Thanksgiving side dishes.
