Loyalty

Loyalty.

Loyalty is something that any agent worth their rank and experience knows a lot about... Loyalty to one's country, to one's agency, family and self is all very important. It's all part of our jobs. We, in some fashion or another, fight for our country in order to keep it safe for the rest of the population, who generally has no earthly idea what we've done, unless of course there's a public incident or a screw-up.

Yeah, the public knows about our failures but rarely do they know anything of the successes and the struggles behind the scenes.

Often in the profession, you will find two loyalties in opposition to each other. I’ve had my own family held hostage to be exchanged for a service that will compromise the security of the CIA and also the United States. Finding a way to navigate those waters and get everyone home safely is the ideal, but often that’s when agents get into trouble. I know I would do anything to protect Ari and the kids.
