Tomorrow I get a G2 touch phone. This is an android phone on T-Mobile, reason being that despite their previous royal screw-up they were apologetic enough and more than willing once I explained my case to give it to me for £25 a month with unlimited texts, more minutes than I've ever used and unlimited internet.
This is inherently a GOOD THING(tm). Now all I need to do is find apps for it that aren't toddler lock that I think I won't be able to live without, because I'm fairly sure that all my friends-who-have-android-phones(tm) will be happy to help my search.
Also, in case you were wondering, I went for the G2 because it's got toddler lock apps already available. If I stick with WinMo (see, it has win in the acronym... how could it be bad?) there are no toddler lock apps. Nokia may have them but my colleague who has a nokia on T-Mobile says he can't even touch the Ovi store (as in it Just-Won't-Work(tm), rather than not being allowed by T-mo.) and that he's tried everything. That and he's on his fifth phone of that model, which is never promising... (I'll caveat that with the news that several of my friends have that particular phone without any problems, so I've come to the conclusion that when it's a bad one you're pretty much cursed.)
I digress... Android users, post your killer apps in the comments section with a short (one sentence if possible/you can be arsed) reason for me to get that app.
Also, Quilage devs, I'll get it when it works, until then I'll hold off. (I say that because I can find out when it works easily and two of the four follow my LJ)
