missnyah, thank you so much for this. You gave me EXACTLY what I wanted. The banter between Eric and Sookie was absolutely delicious, and I love how you managed to show layers to both of them. Some of my favourite lines were:

“No. I mean it. Your money's no good. It's all wrinkled and smells like old chicken grease and cheap alcohol and cigarettes.”

I laughed out loud. This was *so* Pam.

He was wearing an expensive looking suit and cheap looking pair of thick-rimmed glasses. His hair was also ungreased and falling around his eyes

Damn, what a hot image.

“I am here to do market research,” Eric said. “I am considering new avenues for vampire tourism. And you, I assume, are here because you want information about Bill Compton and because I have that information. Though I suppose you could have just come here on your own for the entertainment. Oh you're very welcome- and thank you, I had so much fun with this. I wrote it after my other two Halloween stories which have light moments but are overall so heavy that it was a great change of pace.

As far as the prompts go, haha, I wasn't entirely sure what to do with the setting + cig at first but then I realized that you really requested things that were so much a part of the characters anyway. So thanks for the opportunity to write banter and to give Pam a little spotlight. I love Pam.

This was awesome! I love sweet Eric (as you can tell if you've read the fic I've post lol), but I also love jerky/arrogant/high-handed Eric. And I love that he can so easily make Sookie squirm, and she does her best to give as good as she gets, and his feathers never ruffle. Speaking of feathers....LOL. "So you want to talk about feathers again?" That made me laugh big time.

Thanks! I've written way more SVN than True Blood, for this one I was really trying to hear the actors and see the scene so I'm glad it came through!

Well you're very welcome for the distraction. I had a great time working out exactly how they'd relate to each other over Bill's disappearance and about the blood exchange. It was really a lot of fun. Thanks for giving it a read and check out my other stories if you are ever so inclined.
