I finally bought my first new vehicle yesterday. I couldn't believe I waited this long to purchase a car. I should have done that after college long time ago when I graduated from college. I'll be financing the car for the next two years. First time buyer APR is pretty high, and since the Memorial Day promotion past, I couldn't get the low 2.9 APR.
It was tedious and hassle to talk to dealers. I couldn't believe I was driving around talking to two different dealerships shop for the best price. From 10:30 to 1:00pm, test drive the car and bargain the priced. They offered me the out the door price of $21,225.00 w/ tax and registration. I was like crap, that's pretty expensive but the dealer informed me that was the lowest of the lowest at an employee discount. I went to another dealership and they gave me a $725 less than the first dealer. The $725 difference was insanely hard to bargain. The dealer talked so much he was literally throwing spit balls at me. (gross). Did I get a good deal? I really don't think so but it's the best deal there is at the time. So I bought the car.
